Cambrils is one of the best starting points for exploring the Costa Dorada by water. Its well-equipped marina, the calm waters of the bay and the proximity to some of the most spectacular spots on the Catalan coastline make it the perfect destination for a day at sea.
Northern route: Cap de Salou and its coves
The northern route to Cap de Salou is one of our customers’ favourites. Leaving Cambrils harbour, in less than twenty minutes you reach the stunning coves hidden beneath the cliffs of the headland. Cala Font, Cala dels Crancs and Cala Vinya offer waters of exceptional clarity, ideal for swimming and snorkelling far from the crowds of the urban beaches.
Southern route: Punta de la Mora
The southern route to Punta de la Mora is another must-do itinerary. In this direction, the coast gradually loses its urban character and gains in natural beauty. Ancient medieval watchtowers emerge from the green of the pine forests, and small coves opening between the rocks are accessible only from the sea. It is the perfect route for those seeking exclusivity and silence.
The full-day route
For the more adventurous, the full-day route combines both directions: morning heading north with a stop at Cala Vinya for snorkelling, and afternoon heading south to watch the sunset over Punta de la Mora. With La Bond you can do this route autonomously without a licence, or with La Niña letting an expert skipper who knows every corner guide you.
