Some celebrations call for something other than a booked table. A birthday with close friends, a day for two, a send-off without the noise: all of that fits perfectly on a boat. We’re not talking about a party boat with speakers and a hundred people — quite the opposite: a small group, the sea to yourselves and the day at your own pace.

For small groups, not crowds

La Niña, our 80 HP Quicksilver 505, takes up to five people aboard. It’s exactly the right size for an intimate celebration: there’s room for the people who actually matter and no one to spare. That changes the whole plan. Instead of fighting to be heard in a crowded place, you cruise calmly, anchor in a cove and genuinely spend the day together.

It works especially well for:

  • Birthdays for someone who prefers a meaningful plan to a big party.
  • A day for two, an anniversary or simply a getaway for a couple.
  • Low-key send-offs — hen or stag — without the usual bar-crawl format.
  • Reunions for a small group of friends who want a different kind of day.

Sunset: the easiest way to get it right

If you want the perfect moment, head out late in the afternoon. The light drops, the sea settles and the coast turns golden — the ideal backdrop for a toast. You can cruise for a while, drop anchor off the coast and stay to watch the sun go down from the deck.

It’s a plan that needs almost no preparation to impress. For timing ideas and spots, take a look at our sunset trip: it’s the simplest way to turn a birthday or anniversary into something people remember.

You bring the food, we bring the cooler

Here’s the best part for a celebration: you bring your own food and drink. A charcuterie board, fruit, something sweet for the candles, a bottle for the toast. Pack it all into the cooler included aboard and keep it chilled all day.

No set menus, no minimum spend, no waiter rushing you. You decide what you eat and when. And since the boat also has a sun shade, you can eat in comfort even when the sun is high.

How we set it up

Booking is quick and confirmation is instant:

  • Choose half a day or a full day depending on the plan. For a sunset, an afternoon outing is usually enough.
  • La Niña needs a boating licence or a professional skipper aboard (+€150). If no one in the group holds a licence, we take the helm and you just celebrate.
  • You depart from the Club Nàutic de Cambrils, with insurance, safety gear, cooler, nautical map and sun shade already included.
  • Want to add to the plan? We offer SUP, snorkel, fishing gear, donut or paddle as extras.

Free cancellation up to 48 hours before, so booking ahead carries no risk.

In short

To really celebrate as a small group — a birthday, a couple, a send-off without the noise — a boat gives you intimacy, freedom and a backdrop that’s hard to beat. You bring the people and the food; we bring the boat, the cooler and, if needed, the skipper.
