“How much does it cost to rent a boat in Cambrils?” is the question we get most, and the honest answer is: it depends. Not to dodge it, but because the price is made up of several parts. Here we break them all down so you understand exactly what you’re paying and why.

First: the price is per boat, not per person

This changes the maths completely. When you rent with us, you pay for the whole boat, not per head. The price is the same whether there are two of you or five aboard.

So the more of you there are, the cheaper it works out per person. A day on the water split between four or five friends or a family divides up nicely, and it’s usually more affordable than people expect when they compare it to other day plans.

What drives the price

Two main factors move the number:

  • Which boat you choose. La Bond, 4 metres and no licence, is built for easy days close to the coast and is the most affordable option. La Niña, an 80 HP Quicksilver 505, is more boat — faster and reaches further — so it starts at a somewhat higher price.
  • How long you’re out. We offer half-day and full-day slots, and in some cases 2- or 4-hour blocks. Naturally, a full day costs more than a half, but the price per hour usually works out better the longer the rental.

Since prices adjust by season, the up-to-date rates are always on each boat’s page. Take a look at La Bond and La Niña to see the current fares.

What’s included in the price

This is key to comparing properly. Our rates already include:

  • The mooring for departure and return at Club Nàutic de Cambrils.
  • VAT, with no surprises at the end.
  • Insurance (SOVI plus civil liability) and safety gear.
  • Onboard extras like a cooler, nautical map and sun shade.
  • On La Bond, fuel is included. On La Niña, fuel is paid separately based on the day’s consumption.

When you compare prices elsewhere, always check what each one includes: sometimes a “lower” figure leaves out insurance, mooring or VAT.

Deposit and skipper: what’s worth knowing

Two more things that come into the price conversation:

  • Deposit. A deposit is left on the day of departure and returned in full when you come back if the boat returns in order. It’s not a cost — it’s a hold.
  • Skipper. If you want La Niña but don’t hold the licence, you can book it with a professional skipper for a supplement. You enjoy the day without driving; we handle the boat.

A note: booking direct usually works out better

Rental platforms charge their commission, which ends up inflating the final price. Booking directly with us — website with instant confirmation and card payment via Stripe — saves you that margin, and you also get free cancellation up to 48h before.

In short

The price of a day on a boat in Cambrils depends mostly on the boat and the hours, it’s per boat and not per person, and it includes mooring, insurance and VAT.
